Apple release iPhone 2.0.2. Bug Fixes? -_-.

Apple release iPhone 2.0.2. Bug Fixes? -_-.

[Updatex6] – (15.48pm GMT)

A change has been noticed in the application update process of iTunes:

According to ‘TwiceNightly’ (Mac Rumors.com)

Before:

If you had more than 1 update to your installed apps you could press an “Update All” button and it would download them and install them sequentially.

While updating an app the App Store was pretty much useless. You could hardly even get into the App Store and whem you did it was very slow, if not empty.

Now (with the 2.0.2 update):

The “Update All” button is gone, so you have to look at each app and choose to update.

You can now browse the store while an app is updating, not only to go back and choose your next update but you can also browse around the store with no lag.

[Updatex5] – (15.17pm GMT)

- Mobile Safari seems to be more stable
- Reports of possible push connectivity? – I’m looking into it.
- Applications no longer require updates (no more update problems with iTunes)

Overall, one great update! – In my experience.

[Updatex4] – (1.14am GMT)

- No, Copy & Paste does NOT exist in 2.0.2, as previously hinted.
- No push capability (yet …)

[Updatex3] – (00.53pm GMT)

iPhone 3G
- An extremely long update process (your in for a 1hr+ backup process)
- Everything seems faster and more tuned
- Updated with applications installed using 2.0.1, all are still working/launching
- No noticeable change(s) to 3G connectivity
- No noticeable change(s) to iPhone OS’ settings panel

I will continuously update this article with more information as I find it.

[Updatex2] – (23.25pm GMT)

- No consensus on improved 3G connectivity
- iPod Touch firmware 2.0.2 also released
- Netshare still works

Original Article:
Apple has tonight released iPhone 2.0.2 for iPhone (05:39 PM EST). As always, Apple’s description of changes within the firmware is for-ever thin, stating only ‘Bug Fixes’. I’m currently installing this on both my iPod touch and iPhone 3G, and will post the results afterward.

Steve Jobs recently promised fixes for the 2% of his user-base who may of been experiencing 3G ‘connectivity issues’.

It’s live! – Go grab it on iTunes, Guys!
