“With iTunes 8, browse your artists and albums visually with the new Grid view; download your favorite TV shows in HD quality from the iTunes Store; sync your media with iPod nano (4th generation), iPod classic (2nd generation), and iPod touch (2nd generation); and enjoy a stunning new music visualizer.”

Yesterday, we broke the news that Apple is indeed holding a special event on the morning of September 9th. In all the flurry, I happened to miss Kevin Rose, founder of Digg.com, update his twitter account with the following …
“the new iTunes 8.0 visualizations are really trippy – there is one with planet like objects wrapping around each other w/stars/light streams”
Suggesting Rose might have actually been given iTunes 8.0 by Apple, before it’s public release next Tuesday.
Also, according to Cult of Mac, in a rare event, Apple had told at least one, well-known, East Coast journalist the following:
“Apple just told me it’s a big deal and I should try to be there.”
Kevin Rose was the first source to state the September 9th event date.
This looks like a huge event, one not to miss. I’ll be sure to post links to places covering the event both live and by text updates, when the event nears.
