September 9th: No iTunes Unlimited.

Sep 04, 2008 2 Comments by Arron

I recently blogged about the possibility of Apple unveiling a new option to buy your music from iTunes, dubbed iTunes Unlimited. Unfortunately, according to sources within CNet, Apple will not be introducing an iTunes subscription service next week …

“My sources say that they don’t expect Apple to announce anything to do with music content, and they are sure Apple won’t be rolling out an iTunes music subscription service.”

According to the source, Apple just haven’t setup those deals with the record labels yet, for it to be a viable option. This rumor was revived after a claimed transcript of events was broadcast to several sites.
