WordPress 2.6.2 Out Now! – [Briefly]

As I’m sure most of you are aware, version 2.6.2 of the blogging tool WordPress, was release last night. Currently, the release is said to address a number of issues with databases as well as a weakness found in mt_rand(). One pretty funkay addition in this release is Sticky Posts! – WordPress 2.6.2 finally allows you to set a post as a ‘sticky’ to (permanently) stick at the top of your front page for those all important notes, or announcements …
Posts marked ‘Stick this to the front page’ are automatically given a different title colour, in order to stand out. The update is classed as a small release and more information about how to download 2.6.2, can be found here.
We ourselves have not yet updated to 2.6.2 yet, although it is on our list of things to do …
