Introducing Our New Web Clip Icon!

Posted on September 22nd, 2008. Written by Arron.

As part of the January Software update, Apple added the functionality to add any bookmark you wanted to your iPhone’s home screen. Today, we decided, why not? – and so we now have one too! …

Hit the jump to find out how to add us to your home screen …

Adding us to your iPhone or iPod touch home screen:

1. Navigate to RazorianFly.com with Mobile Safari
2. Hit the Plus button within Mobile Safari
3. Choose ‘Add to Home Screen’

A screen will appear asking you to enter a name for your web clip, simple enter whatever you like. We’ve notice there is certain limit on characters and so we’ve found the word ‘RazorianFly’ to fit perfectly underneath the icon – This is the default we add, but it can be changed.

4. Hit Add

Safari will then add RazorianFly to your home screen, and the best part? – It’ll look just like any other application. We like to think we can design stunning graphics here at RazorianFly, and hope our web clip icon reflects that and falls in place with the iPhone’s sleek look. I think you’ll agree, once Safari adds the ‘gloss’ onto our icon file (seen above), the finished web clip looks pretty damn hot.

Add RazorianFly to your home screen, and stay up to date with us on the move. Want to really keep up with us on the move? – Checkout these great RSS readers for iPhone, and subscribe to us, free.

Arron

Hi, I'm Arron. I'm 20 and I am currently working as a freelance graphic designer and blogger. While managing RazorianFly, I currently also write for AppBoy.com, have previously written for 148Apps.com and have been approached by many others. I've been into graphic design for about 7 years now, and now offer iPhone and iPad Interface Design to developers professionally. Along with James, I also co-founded our brilliant new shortening service, RFly.Me. I'm very much tuned into both the App Store and Apple in general. I like the design, presentation and clarity of a product. If it doesn't cut it I'll tell you straight. I'm on Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook!
