Up There is a beautifully made, fast paced ‘pick-up and play’ game developed by Veiled Games. The replay value is incredibly high and delivers you with hours of gameplay …

Up There is certain to keep you playing over and over to beat your highest score. With the addition of global high scores, you can also challenge your friends and others to see who can reach the highest point

Gameplay
The concept of the game is simple, yet very entertaining and extremely addicting. It offers two different gameplay modes to pick from. ‘Practice mode’ is a slower, more relaxed version of ‘Arcade mode.’ The object is to push the balloon through the openings of bookshelves, floorboards, tree branches, clouds and stars. The higher your balloon goes, the faster the obstacles fall down the screen and the greater your score will be. If you get trapped under an object and fall below the bottom of the screen, your journey through the sky comes to an end. You can submit your score online for others to see and then start the game again.

Artwork/Music
The creative artwork used in Up There was hand drawn by the developers and perfectly fits the game. The brightly colored clouds, stars, backgrounds and other obstacles look gorgeous and help create a joyful, happy feeling in the game. Coincidentally, the track included in Up There is called ‘The Joy of Sky’ by Will Tuttle. The music is simply brilliant and very relaxing. The higher you go, the faster the music will play.

Overall
Up There is an amazing game in a way that is hard to describe. It has a lot of meaning to it, unlike most games you might find in the app store. The ‘personality’ of the game is enlightening and has shown that it can even help relieve some stress. (Trust me!) If you’re searching for a new game to keep you interested, Up There is definitely worth a look

Hey, I'm Josh! :) I love animating, playing sports, hanging out with friends and playing my iPod Touch. I've been creating clay, stop-motion and 2D stick animations since I was about 10 or 11 (5.5 years). I seriously love basketball and I also like to play soccer, hackey-sack and skateboard.
