Preview: iBlast Moki (for iPhone and iPod touch)

Posted on August 4th, 2009. Written by Arron.

Very recently, I got a tip off from Thomas of Godzilab Games and their new iPhone title iBlast Moki. Although not yet available, the guys were good enough to hook us up with a few screens. Hit the jump for more! ..

A physics based title, iBlast Moki to look at (visually), is a sort of weird combination of Team Phobic’s Bounce On [App Store], and Ngmoco’s Rolando [App Store]. One awesome mix I hear you say.

The goal is to blast cute little ‘Mokis’ with the help of bombs and unlock new items like ropes, rising balloons, rotating wheels, as you progress through the different worlds. There are six different worlds which have different game play mechanics like moving obstacles, rotating doors and even floating in water!

With iBlast Moki’s ‘Campaign’ mode featuring a whopping 70 levels of Moki goodness, this title may keep you playing for a while – and if all that wasn’t enough, the game even has it’s own interactive level editor!

“iBlast Moki includes a fully featured level editor which allows players to create their own levels. Once the player has created a level, he is able to upload it online for other people to play by downloading it in game. The player will be able to see the ratings that other player gave to his levels and improve them.”

The game is expected to hit very shortly, and we’ll have a full review for you once it does. :)
