Sticky: App Critics: The Review. [WINNERS ANNOUNCED]

This Contest is Now CLOSED. Thanks for Entering!
Have you ever been on the fence about buying an application? Come on, we all have. And sometimes, the reviews in our native App Store just don’t suffice. Maybe there just aren’t enough reviews, or maybe the reviews are too short to justify any effect on your purchase decision. Well, AppCritics looks to solve that issue by providing reviews from around the globe.
Using AppCritics, you can check out reviews for any app in the App Store across all of the stores around the world. Each country is listed along with the amount of reviews in that country’s app store and the average star rating (out of five, of course). You can then select a country, and read all the reviews in their app store! It’s that simple!
Now, the obvious issue here is — What if it’s in a foreign language? Don’t worry! Developer Gary Fung’s got you covered. AppCritics can translate for you! You can either click a “Translate” button on each review, or, more conveniently, click the “Translate All” button on the top of the page. It’s very convenient.
Here’s how it looks, side-by-side — before and after.

Pretty sweet. Seems accurate, although some things obviously come out a bit choppy.
Something else I love about this app is something incredibly simple, but it would have been a game-breaker if it wasn’t there. An “iTunes Page” link is displayed in the application’s information, allowing you to open the page up in the App Store so you can buy it. Pretty awesome, so that you don’t have to open the App Store application, search it, then buy it. Saves everyone some time.

Other than that, there’s not a whole lot to say about this application. It’s a pretty simple app, but it’s incredibly useful. It has replaced the App Store application for me, unless I’m checking for updates or something. I just go directly into AppCritics, read reviews, then open iTunes to buy it. Gives you a much wider range of consumers looking at the application.

Looks like a very useful app.
If you guys remember AppSniper (or whatever it was called) then this app is pretty much the same, except this one it focuses on reviews instead of prices.
Looks schweet! Would help me too as I am a developer myself so it would be useful to track my apps reviews
What a great idea for an app! I see some debs saying we are the top app in such and such a country, so it’d be nice to see exactly what people in that country love about the app.
This will be a great app for me to have so I can Check out actual user reviews before I get I to an app to review it myself!
Hey guys great review. Still on the fence about this app. I hope i’ll win it instead!
Nice review! I have been looking for an app like AppCritics to help me make sure that the app is actually solid and useful in not just the US, but also the UK. Thanks.
I always read reviews, so this will be helpful!
Thanks!
I would absolutely love to read reviews form other countries — so many devs say things like “#1 APP !!!! (in productive moonshining category, Swedish App Store)!!!” and I’d love to double check that.
