Today we got the heads up from Ian of iPhone development studio iPlay that the third installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, following the release of both Fast and Furious: Pink Slip and Fast and Furious: The Game, is now available on the App Store.

I don’t have to be the one to tell you there are quite a few racing games available for the iPhone (and iPod touch) now, however Fast and Furious is a little different being a movie tie-in.

Fast and Furious: Adrenaline takes the mobile experience one step further compared to previous titles in the series, by offering the ability to play with friends over either Wi-Fi or bluetooth. With 35 cars to choose from in total, and the ability to save scores to a global Facebook leader board, we’re guessing this app is going to have some re-play value.

To celebrate its release, the company is hosting a Fast and Furious sweepstakes, on both Twitter and Facebook, in which you can win various different goodies associated with the franchise.
