‘Splinter Cell Conviction’ for iPhone. Dropping May 24th 2010!
Those stealthy agents over at @SlidetoPlay have decoded a teaser image for Splinter Cell Conviction for iPhone which puts its release at May 24th 2010.
Developed by @Gameloft, the company originally put up a teaser site which was to reveal the release date of the game gradually, to the game’s crowd of hyped fans. Turns out though, that secret code wasn’t all that hard to crack.
While we hate to spoil the teaser campaign, Gameloft’s website wasn’t exactly spy-proof. Just go to the website, right click on the image and copy the link location, then change the numbers to reveal the full release date.
The highly popular spy-themed RPG console franchise, which features U.S. covert government agent Sam Fisher is adorned by gamers the world over – and as noted by the site the anticipation level for the game’s release on both the iPhone and iPod touch is at absolute fever pitch.
We’ll be sure to grab a copy and give you a full in-depth review after its official release.
