Posted by Arron on 03 Jun 2010 @ 8:32 PMWith WWDC so close we can almost touch it, it seems Apple has started to take its previously premium syncing service MobileMe FREE, for all users.
Mobile Me is Apple’s service that pushes email, contacts, and calendar events over the air to all your devices. So your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC stay in perfect sync.
As first reported by @Viticci of Mac Stories, the site today posts a screenshot which depicts from the service’s preference panel in Mac OSX, that the account status of the previous customer has changed to ‘Full Member’.
The move comes as the introduction of the service saw many headaches for the Cupertino-based company, with many customers just trialing the service and then leaving.
Since then, MobileMe has never really been given the attention and love most people think it deserves, because of its annual asking price. Quite simply, the services MobileMe offers can be found separately elsewhere, cheaper.

Uhhhh…. it has been saying “Full Member” for a long, long time, if not ever.
I've had a MobileMe subscription since July 2008, with free trial extensions until January 2009, after which I paid and got the status “Full Member”.
Nothing new here!
