Posted by Arron on 08 Jul 2010 @ 11:30 AMTwitter user @MaxdMerc notes this morning that Apple may have delayed iOS 4.0.1 due to the company working on a fix for the recent iOS4 jailbreak.
The news comes as Apple Lakeside has reportedly confirmed the company was working on a fix for the recent jailbreak, stating that as a result Apple have hinted the software may be delayed.
But the news won’t be music to Apple’s users ears, who are currently experiencing issues with reception on iPhone 4, with Apple having confirmed via press release that iOS 4.0.1 contains a software fix which should solve the issue. However, as we reported yesterday, the issue may not be software related.
No date was given as to when the software had been delayed until, but if true, we’re guessing we won’t be seeing iOS 4.0.1 for a while yet.
