Apple Pro, the original source of iPhone 4 with a white fascia, has today posted photos of what appears to be a small touch-screen slate device which measures smaller than Apple’s current iPad.
The shots, which have baffled tech bloggers around the world, suggests Apple may be working on a smaller mutli-touch device for release sometime in the future. Measuring just 3cm (1.18 inches), the device appears to be some kinda of track-pad.
Engadget takes a stab at this being the new iPod nano, or next-gen Apple TV remote. Personally, we think it’s the iPad Nano.

How could that be the new Nano? At just 1.18 inches, it would be impossible to use. Forget about multitouch, hell, forget about any sort of touchscreen on something that small.
I see this being the new MacbookPro trackpad. That makes more sense then a remote (square? that would suck holding it in one hand) or an iPad nano (further segmenting their market). How cool would it be to have a track pad that displayed stuff?
