If you tuned into Apple’s press conference last Friday, you’ll likely know that the company did the famous “Death Grip” test on a number of different phone models which are currently available on the market.
Basically, the tests were performed in an effort to show the media how out of proportion the situation had gotten over the last few weeks, concluding the fact that, according to Jobs, “all smartphones have weak spots”.
But these signal tests were carried out by Apple and so far that’s all the evidence we’ve had to look up to. Yesterday, Aaron of Zollotech posted a video to @YouTube which shows the same “grip” test being performed on not only the iPhone 4, but on the Palm Pre Plus, Droid X and HTC Incredible.
Unsurprisingly, the test carried out above proves that Apple was right when it stated on Friday that “all phones currently on the market have this issue”.
Well, at least these ones do.[via @YouTube]
