Enable Multitasking On Your iPhone 3G! – [HOWTO]

Posted on July 25th, 2010. Written by Arron.

With the introduction of iOS 4 some features were purposely left out for iPhone 3G users due to the hardware, according to Apple, supposedly not being able to run them. One of these was the ability to multitask between different applications.

Today however, iClarified notes of a little tool called zToggle, which allows users of jailbroken iPhone 3G’s to turn both iOS 4 multitasking and homescreen wallpaper capabilities on and off, at the tap of a finger.

Toggles for Multitasking and Background Wallpapers. No need to use redsn0w or Pwnage tools to toggle Multitasking and Background Wallpapers. This app will let you do that in seconds right from your iDevice. Note that this app is only for iPhone 3G.

Although the tweak isn’t designed for iPod touch users, they are able try it, but as noted by the creator himself they do so “at their own risk”.

Disclaimer: Although RazorianFly sometimes covers the topic of jailbreaking iOS devices, we do not and will not condone the use of this method for app piracy. In light of this fact, we highly discourage the discussion of such on both this blog and our official community forums. Thank You.
