Posted by Arron on 26 Jul 2010 @ 9:38 PMCiting the recent rumors which have surfaced over new iMac, Mac Pros and Apple Cinema Displays, AppleRumors.net is today reporting Apple could be gearing to host one of its on-campus special events as soon as August.
As most of us are probably aware, Apple usually hosts an annual special event in September which is highly centered around its iPod product line, so we personally believe an event in August is pretty unlikely at this point. That said, if Apple feel what they’re announcing at the September event is worthy of an event all on its lonesome – Ahem, iTunes moving into the cloud – the company could in theory scheduled a separate Mac-centric event in August.
The rumor joins a few more Mac-centric rumors including iLife ’11 dropping as early as August 7th and Apple introducing 27-Inch Apple Cinema Displays, new iMacs and Mac Pros, launching as early as tomorrow.
