What happens when the toy maker says you can’t have your toys? – People cry. That is exactly what is happening with South Korea and Apple’s new iPhone 4.

At WWDC 2010 Steve Jobs stated the iPhone 4 would come to 17 more countries this Friday, with the exception of South Korea, stating it would take the company a little more time to get government approval to sell the device there.

But the South Korean government reportedly disagrees this is the case, with one newspaper stating “Jobs lied, Didn’t he?“.

The issue originally arose when Jobs took to the stage at WWDC 2010 and claimed Apple was still waiting on government approval for the iPhone 4, despite KT Corp a South Korean mobile operator having sold 800,000 iPhones since its original launch.
