While it is still unclear if we will see Apple debut the iPod touch 4th generation at it’s media event next Wednesday, one thing is for sure, the assembly parts for the unreleased device exist. Not just in photos .. but in glorious video footage too.
The following video was published by SmartPhoneMedic, an iPhone repair specialist, just a few days ago, comparing the LCD display and front panel assembly parts of the yet announced iPod touch 4th-generation alongside that of the iPod touch 3rd-generation and iPhone 4.
Most notably, the assembly parts for what is claimed to be the iPod touch 4th-generation seem much bigger in comparison to the other two models, with the front facing panel containing a hole above the screen perfect enough to fit a that front-facing camera (and possibly FaceTime) most iPod touch users have been craving for.[SmartiPhoneMedic via TouchReviews]
