As reported by Mac Slice, Apple has just improved the shipping time on all new iPad orders to read “within 24 hours”.
Previous to the move the shipping estimates reflected Apple’s struggle to meet demand, coming in at 7-10 business days. This was then quickly lowered to 3-5 business days but it was still clear Apple was having a hard time making enough iPads for everyone who wanted one.
Today, it seems the Cupertino company is signaling manufacturing of the device has now been ramped up, with Apple moving shipping estimates to “within 24 hours” for all new iPad orders.
