Following the spate of rumors surrounding a MacBook Pro refresh over the last few days, and ever-growing evidence seemingly confirming the move, CNET today reports via “a source familiar with Apple’s plans” that the company may be gearing to introduce new MacBook Airs in June, carrying Intel’s own Sandy Bridge processor.
Apple is targeting a MacBook Air update for this summer that will include a move to Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, CNET has learned.
The MacBook Air refresh is expected in June, according to a source familiar with Apple’s plans.
We imagine this source isn’t too far out on the estimate of June, however it is worth noting that Apple’s current MacBook Air model was released on October 20, 2010 (2010-10-20).
