Despite the announcement of his medical leave and off-the-wall rumors, The Wall Street Journal today reports that Steve is still very much active in the decision making processes and overall product development at the company. More specifically, the product development of both iPhone and iPad.
Among products he is continuing to work on are the next version of the iPad tablet computer, expected out in the next couple of months, and a new iPhone, expected to be released this summer, said two of these people.
On a related note, BusinessInsider reports Jobs was spotted on campus (looking rather well) just a few weeks ago.
