In an exclusive tonight, the guys over at MacGazette report that there is yet another feature which has, until now, been overlooked in the Mac OS X Lion Preview released last week. Mac OS X Lion will have the ability to use Quick Look for embedded URLs.
As it currently stands, the Mac OS X ‘Quick Look’ feature can only be used to quickly preview physical files and documents. In Mac OS X Lion this summer though, that will all change, with 10.7 supporting the ability for users to hover over an embedded hyperlink in an email or document with their mouse and then be able to use Quick Look to see what lies ahead, before committing to actually open and visit the URL via Safari.
