Apple Officially Files For “Photo Stream” Trademark In Canada

In preparation for iCloud‘s debut later this year and following the news of Apple snapping up the rights to AirDrop For Mac OS X Lion, PatentlyApple is reporting that Apple has officially filed for rights to the words “Photo Stream” in Canada.

Filed under application number 1530567 at offices of law firm Baker & Mackenzie in Toronto, Photo Stream is a little piece of magic set to ship with iOS 5 this fall, which will allow you to keep all your photos in sync across all your owned iOS devices, automatically via the cloud.

The application didn’t list any priority filing information which may indicate that the Canadian filing will act as such going forward. Time will tell.
