Among the cluster of features being uncovered in Apple’s iOS Betas, MacRumors today notes of yet another, this time concerning Calendar.app. On Friday, Apple released iOS 5 (Beta 2) to the world, which, prior to this seed, involved users having to go and open Calendar.app to see their upcoming calendar events.
However, with the release of iOS 5 (Beta 2), Apple has introduced the ability for its Notification Center to show these upcoming events. Notification Center will now visually display any upcoming calendar events which are set to take place within the next 24 hours, under a new section entitled “Calendar”.
