Following news that jailbreakme.com is currently up for auction at GoDaddy, (with no further explanation in sight), iPhoneItalia today claims to have gotten its hands on an e-mail conversation – (full resolution here) – between a user named MultiMediaWill and @Comex.

For those still catching up, MultiMediaWill, (who has since deleted his Twitter account), is the person responsible for the early leaking of Comex’s unfinished, “Jailbreak 3.0″ exploit. In this purported e-mail conversation, we see Will apologize for his previous efforts in leaking the unfinished software to the world, claiming “[he] has had so much stress it wasn’t worth it.”

In reply to the apology on July 4 at 1:49AM, Comex reportedly said:

No, I didn’t see your tweets. (I think they were deleted?). But if no more issues come up, it should be ready tomorrow.

JailbreakMe 3.0 with support for iPad 2 to arrive July 5? – We’ll soon find out.
