Larry Page: Google+ Now Has Over 10 Million Users, 1 Billion Items Have Been Shared

Despite only launching less than 4-weeks ago, as part of the company’s earnings call earlier today, Google’s CEO, Larry Page, confirmed that Google+ now has over 10 Million users registered. He also revealed that, so far, those users had shared a total of 1 Billion items.

Page said the new management structure he implemented is “working together fabulously,” and helping complete Google’s goal of making “sharing on web like sharing in real life.”

He also noted that circles were a “popular feature” of the social network.

This success has arrived without the firm having the full Google+ experience in the hands of the over 200 Million+ iOS users already out there. However, Google is now thought to have an official, native iOS application in review with Apple for the network and it is expected this will be released to huge fanfare, in the coming weeks.
