Similar to reports involving both Radio Shack and Cincinnati Bell, MacRumors (via iPhone-Ticker.de) today notes that Vodafone Germany has also began to list one of Apple’s next iPhone models on its official website.
Heading to Vodafone.de, the site notes that the company is now offering “Bumper compatibility” with the iPhone 4 Black (8GB), iPhone 4 White (8GB), iPhone 4S White (16GB, 32GB, 64GB) and iPhone 4S Black (16GB, 32GB, 64GB).
In several of their accessory pages, Vodafone.de now lists several new iPhone models under compatibility requirements. The new models include (note weiß and schwarz translate to white and black.)
The news follows Gizmodo Brazil offering up photos of what they claim is Apple’s low-end, (likely prepaid), iPhone 4 model over the weekend. Carrying a model number of N90A, this device is expected to feature just 8GB of internal storage capacity and arrive separate to that of the rumored iPhone 4S/5.
Interesting to note, a device carrying model number N90 reportedly showed up in Apple inventory, last Wednesday.
[Update] – Vodafone UK just posted details of an unlimited data “3-Month Test Drive”. Coincidence?
The way we charge for data is changing
We’re changing how we charge for data to help you unlock the full potential of mobile internet on your smartphone. Whether you’re browsing the web, using the latest apps or just keeping up with friends by email, we want you to feel in complete control.
Our Data Test Drive
Choose from our range of the latest smartphones and you can use the internet as much as you like – with no additional charges – for the first 3 months of your plan. We’ll keep an eye on your usage. Then – at the end of your 3 month Data Test Drive – we’ll send you a text to let you know how you’ve got on.
You might be surprised to find that you’re already on the right plan. So you can go on using the internet on your smartphone, knowing there won’t be any bill shock. But even if you exceed your data allowance during the Data Test Drive, don’t worry – you’ll have the option to add a higher data allowance to your plan, and we’ll let you know the monthly cost.
If you decide you’d like the higher data price plan, all you need to do is reply to the text within 3 days, free of charge. We’ll make sure your new data plan is applied to your account at the end of your Data Test Drive. So whichever of the latest smartphones you choose – with our Data Test Drive offer you’ll know which data package suits you best.
Would 3-months of FREE, unlimited data convince you to buy the next iPhone? — the new policy is expected to come into effect sometime later this month. Check out our upgrade eligibility guide to see if you’ll be able to get your hands on Apple’s next iPhone at launch.[Thanks @Abcmsaj!]
