If there’s one thing the new iPhone 4S is insanely good at, it has to be taking video. Armed with its 8-megapixel camera sensor, complete with a fifth lens for added accuracy, support for video stabilization and being able to record footage in true high-definition quality, iPhone 4S, will, for most, likely replace a casual point and shoot.
After receiving his iPhone 4S pre-order on launch day, Todd scheduled a music video shoot for his band The Turnback and their new single, Cellophane Sky. Shot entirely on two iPhone 4S units in 1080p at the NYC nightclub, Webster Hall, Todd and team claim this is the first music video they know of which has been shot using the iPhone’s new video quality setting.
On October 14th, 2011 we received 2 brand new iPhone 4S smart phones. On Sunday October 16th we shot the video at the famous NYC nightclub Webster Hall. Over the next several days, with little sleep and lots of coffee, the final video was finished.
This video was shot entirely using those 2 iPhone 4S’s and was edited on Final Cut Pro.
