Earlier this week, you may recall we reported that a “hidden” panoramic mode had been found tucked deep inside iOS 5‘s built-in camera app. The discovery, first made by developer Conrad Kramer (@conradev), raised further questions over whether Apple had last-minute pulled the feature from being visible in the final version of its iOS 5 software.
Following the finding, the guys over at MyGreatiPhone have posted a pretty neat set of instructions on how you can activate this ‘Panoramic Mode’ yourself, without the need for jailbreaking your iPhone. The guide uses the latest version of iBackupBot to enable users to modify the com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist file contained within your latest iPhone backup.
Check out the full guide, here.
