Apple has tonight released a number of software updates, including AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware Update 7.6.1, as well as AirPort Utility 6.0 and AirPort Utility 5.6 designed for Mac OS X Lion.
Firmware Update 7.6.1 arrives for both the 802.11n AirPort Express, 802.11n AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models. The update is designed to fix issue with wireless performance and “provides support for remote access to an AirPort disk or a Time Capsule hard drive with an iCloud account.”
Meanwhile, AirPort Utility 6.0 and AirPort Utility 5.6 for Lion allow for the use of AirPort Utility to “set up and manage your Wi-Fi network and AirPort base stations,” including AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and Time Capsule.
All three of the above software updates are now available for download on Apple.com.
