The long-press-and-hold to activate Apple’s virtual assistant – Siri – is hardly going to see many break into a sweat. However, for those looking to achieve even quicker access to the sassy assistant, a new jailbreak-available tweak by the name of ‘SiriBoard’ might just have you covered.
Developed by the FreeManRepo (@FreeManRepo) – in short – SiriBoard puts Siri on your homescreen in the form of an icon, giving you one-tap, non-restricted access to launch the assistant anytime you wish and without having to wait.
There is one slight hitch, though … you’ll need iOS 5 (or later) installed before you can add the shortcut. Which shouldn’t be a problem for the many of you out there who are already rocking Apple’s latest OS.[via Macgasm]
