EA Launches ‘MASS EFFECT 3 DATAPAD’


Right on the heels of MASS EFFECT™ INFILTRATOR, the team at Electronics Arts have this week released MASS EFFECT 3 DATAPAD. Designed to allow you to be able to “take your galaxy wherever you go,” the new app arrives as a digital companion for the console version of the title.

Receive in-app messages from characters in Mass Effect 3 right after you interact with them in the actual game, unlock the game’s various “Easter eggs” and even read up-to-the-minute news about BioWare itself and the Mass Effect Universe, right on your iPhone.

Plus, being a companion offering in its nature, MASS EFFECT 3 DATAPAD also allows the review of codex entries from Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, meaning you can now learn more than ever before about the real story and game characters that make up the Mass Effect Universe.

Not only that, but with the companion app’s “FLEET COMMANDER” feature you’ll also be able to use your tapping skills to deploy fleets of ships to increase your chance of success against the Reapers in Mass Effect 3′s single player mode, and more.
