Apple’s Mac App Store has this afternoon crossed the 10,000 mark in regards to applications now available for users to purchase (or download).
Bundled with every purchased copy of OS X Lion, Apple’s Mac App Store (as of writing) contains a total of 10,334 applications which have been approved-for-sale and are now available for download.
Meanwhile, Apple’s App Store as a whole now features 799,241 total applications – and 599,894 of those are available for user download, immediately. Of those 599,900 applications, 529,806 are compatible with iPhone, the additional 221,336 applications of which have been designed specifically for Apple’s iPad.
The Mac App Store officially turned 1 on January 06, 2012.
