Just days after its request to lift the preliminary injunction currently in affect on sales of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the U.S, was denied, Samsung’s latest request to lift the preliminary injunction recently granted to Apple over sales of the firm’s ‘Galaxy Nexus’ smartphone, has today also been denied.
According to Reuters, U.S. District Judge, Lucy Koh, again rejected the firm’s request to lift the ban – which has not yet been enacted by Apple – but could be if the Cupertino company chooses to place the $95.6 Million bond required by the Court.
In light of these two rejections, AllThingsD is also out with a report this afternoon which claims Google is now thought to be working on a software update for its Android OS mobile opting system, which would – in effect – remove any potentially-violating features from the OS, which Apple may choose to use to its advantage in a legal capacity, moving forward.
