Apple Now Highlighting PassBook Enabled Apps (U.S)

At the beginning of this month, you may remember we highlighted that Apple’s new ‘PassBook’ section in iOS 6 had gone live, prematurely. Available for a brief period of time, with the official release of iOS 6 yesterday, we’re pleased to report that Apple’s iTunes ‘PassBook’ section is now live and ready to use.

Showcasing a number of applications supporting the new feature, and which appear (at least for the moment) to be mostly U.S-centric, the new section aims to filter the applications in the store which carry support for digital ‘passes’ in PassBook.

The list of applications featured in the new store section, include:

FandangoMovie tickets. Buy tickets seamlessly without leaving the app for 20,000+ screens – and counting – more than on any other app. Now including all AMC Theatres locations!
