The team behind Boxee just recently updated the official mobile client of its Cloudee video storage service, fully integrating Facebook for easier login and sharing of videos with your friends, colleagues, and family.
Still in its “Beta” phases, (which means that, if you check it out today you’ll get free unlimited storage for everything you upload during the beta period), for those yet to come across the service Cloudee allows the upload of videos from your smartphone to Cloudee servers, and with the ability to organize videos into collections, (for example: trips, concerts, parties, etc), you might just find yourself using it more often than you’d like to admit.
Every video you upload to Cloudee is saved in a private ‘locker,’ with the service then giving you the ability to share specific videos and collections with friends, family, and those yu actually wish to have access.
For the more socially open, Cloudee can also be used to post less private videos to both Facebook and Twitter, as well as create collaborative video collections as you give access to other members who you want to collaborate with.
It’s a neat take on social video sharing, while also respecting the need for constrained, more private, sharing options for those out there who may prefer to keep what they upload from prying eyes. You’ll find Cloudee on the iTunes App Store today, for FREE.
If you’ve got videos on your Mac that you think you’d like to share in the same way, the team has also made available Cloudee Uploader for Mac. It’s available from the Mac App Store today, for FREE.
