Following that report yesterday, (in which you may remember we highlighted that Apple had added the ability to redeem iTunes Gift Cards in iTunes 11 using the front-facing FaceTime camera on your Mac), 9to5Mac notes this evening that Apple has launched a new type of Gift Card this week which can vary in value.
Previously, iTunes Gift Cards were only available in preset value denominations. However, starting today, you’ll be able to get your hands on Apple’s new Gift Card, which you can load with any amount from $15-$500, just in time for the holiday season.
The new gift cards match the visual design of the cards first seen on Apple’s official product page describing the features of iTunes 11, which went up yesterday.
