As Apple’s digital content stores kick back into full gear, there are a number of small (but notable) app updates which have surfaced this week that we think you should know about.
Details after the fold.
Netflix
First up, Netflix. The TV and movie streaming service notes that it is “always improving” its official iOS client to make it both “easier and better” to use. In Netflix 2.4.4, “bug fixes” are king.
Rdio
The official client of music streaming service Rdio has also received an update this week. The new update now allows you to search for your favourite music even when you don’t have an internet connection, further allowing to find music you have previously synced to the mobile client.
Other additions to the client include fixes for an issue that could cause the app to rapidly switch between online and offline modes, as well as improved stability.
Puffin Web Browser
Following an update which added full support for Adobe Flash content at the end of November, Puffin Web Browser has again updated to bring improved tab speeds, as well as new settings option to disable double-tap-zoom, a new “Most Visited” sites settings, an option to reset the app’s default wallpaper, and the app now allows for both javascript and data schemes in bookmarks.
