Joining the growing list of companies who are showing off their new cases for Apple’s mobile devices this week is Polaroid, who was spotted by the good folk at CultofMac parading its new line of lens cover cases for iPhone (and iPad) at the show yesterday.
Vibrantly coloured, the new range of cases from the company will attach to Apple’s mobile devices via four “clip on” sections, located at each of the four corners of each case. Once attached, the cases will then allow a user to choose between a choice of telescopic lens, which physically attach to the cases to provide better photography.
The lenses themselves snap onto the case with a minimum of fuss, and come in three main flavors: a standard fisheye, a telephoto lens that will bring you two feet closer to whatever it is you’re snapping and a telezoom good for three feet. The fisheye and telezoom are constucted of metal, while the telephoto is a white plastic affair.
They drop this March – and the company has confirmed that the replaceable lenses will cost somewhere between $19.99 and $29.99, each.
Not bad, if you happen to be serious about iOS photography.
