Pushing out an update to its official iOS client this afternoon, Facebook now includes the ability to share your moments either via voice messages, or alternatively, now allows you to record video right from within the app.
The company say that sending voice messages is great when you feel that you “have more to say,” that might not be able to be explained or conveyed fully in a “text”-based message. In addition, recording video messages for friends and loved ones, (and then sharing these video messages), is now possible without leaving the app — meaning you can really get your message across when you need to.
The official client for the social network has this weekend also been updated with an improved “Nearby” tab, which makes sharing and connecting with your favorite places a breeze.
