Set to hold its highly-anticipated media event in New York on Thursday, executives from Apple’s rival Samsung will later this week officially unveil the company’s flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S IV – publicly, for the first-time.
Referred to as Samsung’s “iPhone Killer” by some out there, the South Korean company generally hopes that – (upon the Galaxy S IV’s official launch in the marketplace) – the handset will completely knock Apple’s current-generation iPhone off the top spot of best-selling smartphones, seeing its new handset reign victorious.
Whether the smartphone’s launch will play out exactly how the company is anticipating it will do, however, is unclear. Thankfully, as we now live in the age of the internet, we have the luxury of not having to wait until Thursday to see a first glimpse of Samsung’s coined ‘iPhone killer’.
In a video uploaded in the last several hours, an unnamed, unidentified video blogger claims to already have his hands on Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, showing both the internals, speed and capabilities of the device.
The leaked video footage of the alleged device follows just hours after a set of photos reportedly also leaked concerning the smartphone’s outer design. Features such as eye-tracking and wireless charging are also possibles for the device’s official unveiling on Thursday — however, (as it stands), the smartphone’s final specifications largely remain uncertain.
