Nickelodeon has updated its official iOS app with universal support for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch. The new update will see fans of the children’s TV network able to watch episodes of their favorites Nick shows “on-demand,” providing that they already have a digital subscription to DirecTV, Time Warner Cable or U-verse.
In addition to launching its on-demand viewing service for Apple’s millions of iPhone and iPod touch users out there, Nick tonight also confirmed that the same on-demand video service it is launching on iOS, today, will also be landing on Xbox 360 ‘within the next month.’
Plans to bring Nickelodeon’s on-demand service to the Xbox One, however, have not yet been determined. Nickelodeon for iPhone is a FREE download, and is currently only available to those located in the United States.
