Tidbit: Countdown To WWDC13 On Your Pebble

One for all you “Wrist Tech” lovers out there.

The clever folks over at Cocoanetics have come up with a pretty neat application for the Pebble smartwatch over the weekend. The free and user-programmable clock app allows those who own the smartwatch to now visually countdown to Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conferenceright on their wrist!

The new watch-app provides the user with the ability to adjust the countdown in accordance with their own UTC offset by using both Pebble’s ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons, and – (prior to the conference) – will show the remaining time until Apple’s keynote, set to take place on June 10.

During the conference, however, the developers note that the app will instead intelligently switch to showing the current time and ‘day number.’ And, after the conference has ended? – Well, there’s no need to worry about the app becoming completely useless, as the WWDC13 watch-app will revert back to showing both the current date and time.
