Avid fans of the Final Fantasy franchise will no doubt already be familiar with ‘The War Of The Lions,’ but for those of you who aren’t, Final Fantasy Tactics was first released as an RPG in 1997, and went on to sell over 2.4 Million copies worldwide.
The title grew in popularity upon its re-release in 2007 as ‘Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions’ for the PSP, with added features such as; new movies, scenarios and Jobs. The game finally arrived on Apple’s App Store in 2011, and brought with it intuitive touchscreen controls and improved load times.
In its latest update – (version 1.2.0) – released just last night, the game’s overall graphics have had an overhaul, now seeing all in-game visuals enhanced for high-resolution displays. In addition to this, the speed of graphic drawing processes has been “significantly improved,” and those who like to pick-up where they originally left off on another of their iOS devices, will be mightily pleased to learn that the title (finally) now supports iCloud saves.
