MacStories has posted a shot of a new banner from inside Moscone Center, which is making the internet enter a frenzy over what Apple has in store for the next iteration of its iOS operating system, expected to be previewed for the first time in public during the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference, on Monday.
The banner perhaps showcases the initial direction in which Apple will choose to move in regards to the visual design and aesthetics of the mobile OS – going forward, seeing the figure ‘7’ displayed in what appears to be Helvetica Neue “Ultra” Light.
The typeface Apple has chosen for the newly unveiled banner is perhaps also further evidence that big changes are afoot for the mobile OS, under the new direction and overseeing of Apple’s new head of software design – Sir. Jonathan Ive.
Just three more days until we find out what Apple (and Ive) have in store.
