When you first turn on your iPhone running iOS 7, one thing you may notice is that the icons appear to float when you move your device around. This is due to the ‘Parallax’ effect.


Reportedly controlled by the iPhone‘s built-in accelerometer, while this new feature is impressive when you have a static wallpaper cropped to your iPhone’s display resolution, it’s even more amazing if you set your wallpaper to a panoramic photo and spin around – as highlighted by the good folk over at CultofMac.
