Nokia is seemingly playing on the Cult of Apple with its latest – “Don’t Flash. Amaze.” – television spot, portraying iPhone users as brain-dead zombies. But, while this might be seen as a slight dig towards iPhone owners simply ‘following the crowd,’ and often being perceived by others as ‘not thinking for themselves,’ this is seemingly not the primary objective of Nokia’s new TV ad.
Instead, the zombies are seen as having to use the iPhone’s back-facing flash in order to take photos in very low light conditions — something which Nokia’s new Lumia 925 apparently doesn’t require.“The best photos in any light.
