See iOS 7 Running On iPad Mini – [UPDATED]

After a few days with iOS 7 (Beta 2) we can safely say that it’s a great improvement on Beta 1. The reports of improved battery life are not exaggerated, and the operating system appears to be responding more fluidly overall.

Sure, there are a few crashes, and some apps don’t work – Twitter’s Vine being one of them. But, that’s largely expected. We’re still excited to see where Apple takes iOS 7.

As promised, below is a full screenshot tour through the main features of iOS 7 (Beta 2). The tour includes screenshots from most of Apple’s stock applications (as well as a few downloaded from the App Store), and should generally give you a good idea of where the company is going with the mobile OS in terms of design direction.

We’re purposely not sharing screenshots of the iPhone build as little has changed in that department, and as such, we thought it would be a lot more interesting to show you iOS 7 running on Apple’s most-portable tablet, for the first time.

Enjoy.

UPDATE: New Screenshots Added

We’ve just added a bunch of screenshots for Apple’s new ‘Popular Apps Near Me’ feature, the App Store “Updates” screen, Landscape Multitasking UI, Purchased Apps (and more).

We’ll add to the tour as we find more things worthy of showing. Stay tuned.
