Fire up YouNow on your iPhone for just half-an-hour, and you can discover awesome people, become a broadcasting legend, and perhaps even make lifelong friends.
The live video-broadcast service has been available to iOS users since the end of March, 2012. And now, it’s coming to Android.
Announced via the Official YouNow Blog, the company is – from today – now looking for testers for their new app, ‘YouNow X’.
“The Android app features a fresh new look and will offer new features not yet seen in the iOS version. EXCITING!,” the announcement reads.
Currently in beta, the firm says that before it launches the app, it is looking for “a few dedicated YouNowers” to beta test the app, to make sure that ‘YouNow X’ ends up shipping as a “flawless” product.
If you’re interested in helping test the next stage of the YouNow story, and feel you can provide YouNow with your valuable feedback, starting today, we suggest you head over and start filling out this application form.
“A YouNow representative will contact those chosen for the Beta program.”
On YouNow your vote determines how long a broadcaster stays live on-air. As a broadcaster, you can easily gain new YouTube subscribers, Twitter followers and Facebook friends. Choose from over 50 channels to watch or broadcast on. There is something for everyone!
You can get your copy of YouNow on the App Store – today, for FREE. The app has been designed specifically for iPhone, and is a lot of fun if you fancy the idea of going live to an audience you’ve never met or interacted with before.
