One day before it was officially scheduled to be available publicly, (with its early release possibly in celebration of the store’s 5th anniversary), Deus Ex: The Fall has this afternoon hit the iTunes App Store.
Marking the first mobile game in the series, the events take place directly after the conclusion of the James Swallow novel, Deus Ex: Icarus Effect.
The game was originally announced as coming to Apple’s mobile platform on June 5, and will mark the start of a new journey in the award-winning Deus Ex game series. Set in 2027 – the golden era for science, technology and human augmentation, in Deus Ex: The Fall – Ben Saxon, an augmented former British SAS Mercenary, is desperate for the truth behind a global conspiracy that is threatening his life.
With a choice to play in either “full-on action”, or in “stealth” mode, every action you take also comes with a consequence. Your search for the truth will span from mafia hideouts in Moscow, to the slums of Panama, with the title featuring ‘hours of gameplay’ and multiple ways to help you get to your end-goal.
Players looking to check out the first mobile incarnation of the Deus EX franchise, should first note that Deus Ex: The Fall requires 1.6 GB of free space to install. Before playing Deus Ex: The Fall, the studio recommends closing other applications to enhance your experience.
Compatible with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th generation), iPad (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + 4G, iPad (4th generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), iPad mini and iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular, Deus Ex: The Fall requires iOS 5.0 (or later) — and has been “optimised” for iPhone 5.
Get Deus Ex: The Fall – for $6.99.
